The Ham Free Press is having a launch party in London — and you’re invited!
Every copy of The Ham is free, and ~25% of all copies produced will be left in public places where you might not expect to find them — and, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, many more copies will be distributed. I love this, and I love the fact the magazine aims to showcase emerging and under-represented writers.
Now, I must disclose. My motivations for this post are not entirely altruistic. I particularly want you to read Issue #1 because you’ll find one of my tiny fictions in its pages. It’s a fern in a forest of poems and stories from writers around the world, and I am delighted to appear alongside them.
Submissions are open for Issue #2, under the theme ‘change and stasis’. Find out more from here: http://www.thehamfreepress.com/submit/
Submitting your work is a brave and awesome act. I wish you inspiration, courage, and all the very best.
